The non-freestanding MSR Carbon Reflex 3-Person Ultralight Mesh Backpacking Tent offers the full weather and bug protection and simple setup of a tent while weighing as little as a tarp. This ultra-packable 3-season backpacking tent features ultralight carbon fiber poles, lightweight fabrics and two zipper-free vestibules to make it ideal for minimalist and ultralight backpacking. For fast and light travel, the body of the tent can be left behind, and a minimalist shelter constructed using a footprint (sold separately), poles, and rainfly. Set up, the main interior floorspace measures 84 inches long and 66 inches wide (38.5 sq. feet) with an interior peak height of 40 inches. Two vestibules provide an additional 7 square feet on each side of the 2-door tent (total 14 sq. feet) for boots, packs, and gear storage. Includes tent body, rainfly, poles, guy cords, stakes, and stuff sack. The Rainfly has DuraShield waterproof coating; tent floor has Xtreme Shield waterproof coating (which lasts up to 3 times standard waterproof coatings) as well as a durable water repellent (DWR) coating.
